Who We Are
A Bite For 2 is a non-profit business run by high schoolers in Saratoga, New York, that was started in order to generate profit and donate it to benefit young children with cancer in Cairo, Africa. We bake and sell cookies to develop closer bonds and help kids internationally as a community. Our goal is to represent Saratoga as a place that is striving for change and actively making a change. We are excited to work together with others and form a community of people that are excited to help.
Our Team
We are a small team of four teenagers that are working together everyday to help this business succeed. What makes our team special is our strong passion to help make a global difference despite our young age.
Nazek Gheith
Nazek is the owner and founder of A Bite For 2. She grew up in Egypt, and after moving to New York, always dreamed of making a difference. She came up with the idea of A Bite For 2 to help give back to her home and spread a message of hope through her mother's cookie recipe. She works to manage the company and keep things running smoothly. Outside for A Bite For 2, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, researching, and drawing. She one day hopes to go to a medical school and become a surgeon.

Anne-Sophie Laloe
Anne-Sophie is the head baker and co-founder of A Bite For 2. She is very passionate about helping out in the community for a good cause, especially when baking is involved. She enjoys being outside and racing in sports like mountain biking and skiing. She's very excited to see A Bite For 2 grow and help to make a positive change through this project.

Thomas is one of the four founders of A Bite For 2. He manages our website and managers our budget and sales money. He decided to join A Bite For 2 because he has always been interested in business, and was excited to get involved and help make a difference for those who live with cancer. It is important to him that we help give those children the life they deserve. Outside of A Bite For 2, he enjoys playing the violin, competing in swim competitions, biking, playing ukulele, and spending time with friends. His goal is to attend university as a business major with a minor in music.
Co-Founder and media managerAnna Carruthers
Anna is a fellow founder of A Bite For 2 and our media manager. She manages our internet footprint, such as our socials and website. She helped create A Bite For 2 because it is important to her that people all over the world get the healthcare they need, and being able to help make that happen is an incredible opportunity. Outside of A Bite For 2, she plays soccer, guitar, reads, and watches lots of movies and TV. Her future goals are to go to college, med school, and residency to become a pediatric surgeon.
The Children’s Cancer Hospital of Cairo, Egypt
The Children's Cancer Hospital of Cairo, Egypt is one of the largest children's cancer facilities in Africa and the Middle East. Every year they supply help to thousands of children in Egypt and around the Middle East suffering from cancer. The much needed chemotherapy drug has been in great shortage during the first year of the recent revolution in Egypt. Many children admitted often can not afford the treatment needed to stay alive. A Bite For 2 works directly with the Children's Cancer Hospital of Cairo, Egypt to ensure our money goes to children in some of the most distressed, troubled, and poor regions in Africa and the Middle East. Every dollar, every sale, and every cookie makes a difference. Help us make a change, one cookie at a time!
